The NB Alliance of Lake Associations has posted a video on YouTube showing the Eurasian Water Milfoil in a local lake and shares some details on how to identify it.

Hi everyone! The association is always looking for new members and volunteers to assist in our projects. Over the last year we have taken on a new shoreline restoration effort and are looking for people interested in assisting with the hands-on work of planting shrubs.
Help with other ongoing projects like the roadside clean-up, website and Echo articles is also needed.

Each year the Yoho Lake Association puts together a Welcome Package containing useful information about life on the lake, as well as some details about the Association and its projects. We wanted to share a digital copy of the entire package here on the site as well:

We observed this moth hovering like a hummingbird and enjoying the flowers; its long, specialized proboscis lets it reach deep down into flowers for nectar.

The Yoho Lake Association was successful in securing an Environmental Trust Fund (ETF) grant for $8,500 to install goose fencing and shoreline vegetation and provide for educational material in order to reduce pressure on our lake.
We are also hoping to perform some shoreline restoration at properties around the lake. Please read on for more information.

$100 trucking fee and 21.5 cents per gallon.
